I've always been excited whenever the calendar hits December. It's my favorite month. A lot of things to celebrate for. My Birthday, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day... It's the time for reunions, gift-giving, making amends with your past enemies, Christmas vacation, Christmas shopping spree, and quality time with your loved ones. It's just such a happy month! The last 2 Christmases though was a bit tiring for me. 2007, I was confined at the hospital and celebrated Christmas at The Medical City. For what illness? That's the sad and confusing part, actually. The Medical City is one of the best hospitals in the Metro, but not even the best of the doctors, and the most expensive machines can detect my illness. It really was scary. For a month, I was bed ridden. And miraculously, I survived. Thanks for all the prayers and for my family and friends' moral support. 2008, suffered from dengue, and was very fortunate to survive it. Now, back to present time. 2009, I hope to surpass the season without any illness striking me. No illness could take away the season's spirit...have a Merry and Healthy Christmas everyone!
